Kristian RL McPeek
Mr. Kristian McPeek attended Georgia Southern University. He received his Bachelors of Science in Political Science with a Philosophy minor. He graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude, and he received distinctions for his participation in the College and University Honors Programs.

Kristian McPeek earned his law degree from the Appalachian School of Law. His academic success led him to receive the Trustee’s Merit Scholarship which covered his law school tuition costs. During law school, Mr. McPeek volunteered in the community and served as a mentor for other law students. He also interned with the Ogeechee Circuit Public Defenders office where he began to develop his passion for criminal defense work.

After law school, Mr. McPeek worked with the Gwinnett Legal Aid group before transitioning into the Public Defender’s Office. He served as an Assistant Public Defender for four years. He worked in north Georgia in Lumpkin, Towns, Union, White, Hall and Dawson Couties. This time allowed him to develop his skills with hundreds of hours of courtroom experience. While serving as an Assistant Public Defender, Kristian represented individuals for offenses ranging from simple traffic matters to serious violent felonies. He also developed a strong connection with the Drug and Mental Health Courts during this stage of his career.
Mr. McPeek has extensive criminal litigation experience. This experience includes plea negotiations, motions practice, probation revocations and trials. Because of this experience and passion for defense work, he currently focuses his practice on defending those charged with all types of crimes in the state of Georgia.
